Trips are bookable in advance. Tickets may be purchased here. Ferry services cannot be booked in advance.
We advise you to purchase trip tickets well in advance of your planned trip. Glansteffan takes a legal maximum of 10 passengers. You can book on the beach but we cannot guarantee any spaces will be left. Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time of your trip.
Ferry crossing tickets can be bought on the boat or at our shore stations, if staffed. They are sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Don't worry about the will- I won't you! This is West Wales, we aim to get every potential passenger across the estuary.
Carmarthen Bay Ferries is a dog-friendly company. Well behaved dogs are welcome to travel free, with their owners, on the short ferry across the Tywi. However, in the interests of animal welfare, we do not carry dogs on our trips.
