Anne - Captain

Anne - Captain

Anne, a Welsh speaker, and a former pupil of Ygsol Gyfun Bro Myrddin, has strong maritime credentials. She worked at the Maritime & Coastguard Agency Registry of Shiping in Cardiff and at the Coastguard Operations Centre in Milford Haven.

Following a training period at the UK Sailing Academy she then went on to serve on various Border Protection Squadron vessels abroad and in UK waters, and has been involved in numerous law enforcement and humanitarian operations.  Anne is also a Coastguard Rescue Officer with HM Coastguard Llansteffan.

Dave - Part Time Skipper

Dave grew up in Burry Port, and now lives in Ferryside. He works part time at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David as a lecturer and is a senior crew member with Ferryside Independent Lifeboat.

Dave aims to add his interest and knowledge of local history and wildlife of the area into our ferry journeys.

Liam - Full Time Crew

Liam - Full Time Crew

Liam grew up in Llansaint overlooking Carmarthen Bay. A former pupil of Ysgol Gyfun Bro Myrddin, he has been fishing for salmon and sewin on the River Towy at Ferryside for over 20 years.

Liam always joked that the estuary was his full-time office, and now it finally is!

Chris - Part Time Crew

Chris is a resident of Llansteffan and a member of Llansteffan Coastguard Rescue Team - trained as a water and mud rescue technician.

He is a keen dinghy sailor and canoeist and a member of Llanelli Male Voice Choir.
