Eclipse Viewing Cruise: Passenger Information (18:45–20:15) Between 18:45 and 20:15, passengers will experience the most dramatic phases of the 12 August 2026 solar eclipse. As the Sun lowers toward the western horizon, the Moon will gradually obscure more than ninety percent of its disc, creating an unusually deep partial eclipse. Expect the light to dim noticeably, colours to shift toward a cooler tone, and the landscape to take on an atmospheric, almost twilight quality long before actual sunset. Maximum coverage occurs around 19:12, when the Sun will appear as a thin crescent hovering just above the horizon.

Because this event involves direct solar observation, passengers must bring their own certified eclipse glasses. We cannot supply eyewear, and we cannot accept responsibility for any injury caused by looking at the Sun without proper protection. Ordinary sunglasses, camera lenses, or improvised filters are not safe. For your wellbeing and enjoyment, please ensure every member of your party arrives equipped with suitable eclipse viewers.
